He is building a tour company from the ground up and on his own and is truly invested in a desire to bring the best experiences in Tanzania for his clients. He paired us up with a fantastic guide, Eugene, and we went on a 5 night, 6 day safari. We had guidance throughout our time in Zanzibar and got to do a waterfall/hot spring adventure in Arusha. Overall, the itinerary and tour was great for your very first time in Tanzania.

Even when we arrived in Tanzania, Edwin was the first to greet us and was our driver, guide, etc. in the town of Arusha. As the trip went on, he frequently checked in with us to see how we were doing and whether things were going according to plan. If there was any miscommunication between a hotel and our booking, it was fixed immediately. The tour was private, only me and my three companions and the price was very affordable. Edwin went the extra mile when we asked for specific items, food, or other amenities and made every effort to execute. I appreciate that GreyJoy Tours is super collaborative and completely boutique custom itinerary!

He took us in our 6-day safari giving us a lot of background on his Maasai origins and the tribe. He was very patient with us and super friendly! We had the best time thanks to him, also we managed to see all the famous big 5 plus other animals, thanks to his knowledge and willingness to make us have a great experience!
